Rendezvous

Why are voice actors so freakin' awesome?!
It's like seeing a familiar actor in a movie every so often, but with video games/animated series you only have the voice to recognize. 
While playing games, I've occasionally said to myself, "Oh, I've heard this voice before!" and try to guess or look up the cast.
Then BOOM! Holy crap! That's so-and-so's voice from this game or whatever! *Squee!* :D

I'm just having a nice geeky moment over this because I have a voice fetish and there's a lot of VAs who I've heard in numerous games I play.
There's John DiMaggio, Nolan North, Mark Hamill, Alan Tudyk, Fred Tatasciore, Roger Craig Smith, Adam Baldwin, Carlos Ferro, Steve Blum, David Skully, Nathan Fillion, and loads more!
It's just so awesome! Especially when most of these voice actors are just as nerdy over a series as you are -- I love hearing from a fellow fan who has met one of the VAs and says that they're really nice people, that they love hearing from fans and talking about the series they worked on. It's like they aren't just giving their voices to a character but they're also part of the fandom/family.

Anyways, I'm off to play Assassin's Creed. Funny how I can't watch most movies anymore without thinking "there's a viewpoint!" or fangirling over a character free-running on rooftops. :P
